What is your style?

I would describe my style as a hybrid of photojournalism and fine art. I love to capture the story of the day as it unfolds. I love taking the little details shots of the flowers, favors, etc… that make your day unique. I do take formal portraits but I limit time spent on them so that you can enjoy your day.

Will you be photographing our day?

Yes. I do not employ any assistants or second photographers.

How long will you photograph my wedding?

My coverage is up to seven hours. In most cases coverage starts with the bride (and sometimes groom) getting ready and goes well into reception. Additional coverage is available if needed for $200 per hour.

How many proofs will we receive?

After my final edit, for an average 7 hour wedding, you will receive about 400-600 proofs. Each wedding is different; my aim is quality not quantity.

Do you shoot in B&W or Color?

The breakdown is usually 70% B&W and 30% Color to 60% B&W to 40% Color. I love B&W because it is timeless and classic. Most of my detail shots are in color.

Do you carry back up equipment with you?

Yes. I have two camera bodies, two flashes, plenty of CF cards, and batteries. I use all professional digital Canon equipment and lenses.

Can we give you a shot list to work from?

The only time I use lists is for the formal group shots. My goal is to capture the events of the day. However, I will want to know if there anything unique on your wedding day that you want documented.

What happens after the wedding?

After the wedding I will download the images and start editing. Proofs are usually posted to the private password protected site within six weeks. They will be available on the site for 6 months and more time can be added for an additional fee. A CD of your high resolution digital negative jpegs will be delivered to you at the time your album is delivered or on your first year anniversary if an album was not ordered.

How can we book you for our wedding?

Dates book up quickly, and I only consider a date booked with a signed contract and a retainer (the non-refundable retainer is 1/3 of the package rate). I cannot hold dates any other way. Please contact me to see if your date is still available. To keep customer service high-I only accept a very limited number of weddings every year. Please contact me for more information or to set up a consultation to talk about your wedding.

Do you travel?

Sure do. All weddings within 50 miles of the general metro Boston area do not have travel charges. I also travel all over the U.S. and abroad to photograph weddings. Please contact me for further information on shooting your destination wedding.
