Before the wedding, I will normally meet with you at least once to go over the details and the schedule of the wedding. Of course if you have any questions at all (even non-photography questions), I am always available.

I am also available for engagement photo sessions which is a great way to meet before the wedding and get comfortable with being photographed.

Two weeks before the wedding, we will either get together or I will contact you via phone/email to go over the list of formals groupings, the final schedule, and any final details or special requests.

On the wedding day, if getting ready shots are requested, I will visit the bride first, normally spending most of my time with her unless the groom is getting ready nearby. I will be in the background, observing and shooting what is going on around me. I will also photograph detail shots (dress, flowers, etc…).

If my coverage time starts at the ceremony site, I will normally arrive 40-60 minutes before the ceremony starts.

Many couples want to see each other before the ceremony, since it reduces the amount of formal shots after the ceremony and gets them to the reception quicker. But the decision is up to each couple. In any case, there is usually time to get a few pictures of the bride with her bridal party, and/or immediate family before the ceremony.

I usually handle formals after the ceremony by going off the list provided by you and doing the larger groups first and then finishing with the bride and groom alone. My goal is to work as efficiently and quickly as possible so that you can get to enjoy your day. Depending on the size of your family and wedding party, I allot about 20 minutes for the group formals and then 15-20 minutes for the bride and groom.

After formals, I am back to documenting your day. I will never ask you do something again so that I can record it. You also won’t see me going table to table and getting everyone together to take a picture.

After the wedding, I will start editing your images. Within six weeks, I will send you a link to your password protected website where you, and your family and friends can view your proofs. Pictures can be ordered through the website. A CD with all of the proofs that are found on the online site will be delivered to you after the site is posted.

A CD of high resolution images will be delivered on your first anniversary.
